The second annual “Wildwoods Fabulous ‘50s Weekend Salutes the Sixties” will be a musical celebration of the 1960s. Events at the Wildwoods Convention Center: a Friday evening Record Hop with Jerry Blavat, a Street Fair with live music, contests, classic cars and vendors, and more.

With more than $40,000 budgeted for paid advertising and an extensive media blitz planned, the Fabulous 50s Weekend Salutes the Sixties will attract hundreds of thousands of oldies fans in the Northeast including the Philadelphia area, Baltimore and DelMarVa and throughout New Jersey. Vendors will find themselves in nostalgia central, surrounded by lots of happy vacationers with an appetite for '60s music, memories and food.

The centerpiece of the weekend is the Fabulous Fifties Salutes the Sixties Street Fair, Saturday, April 28, 11:00am to 4:00pm on the Wildwood Boardwalk from Burk to Andrews Avenue. This street fair features live music from the '50s and '60s, hosted by Philly's Favorite DJ Lou Costello. The fair includes Beatlemania Again, Love Affair, Soul Survivors and more. Admission is free.
